i chose to use the poem phenomenal woman by Maya Angelou because growing up this was one of the first poems that my grandmother used to read to me. I love this poem because its all about embracing being a woman. Its about all the things and qualities that makes a woman beautiful.

i totally forgot that i had a blog.

so. I started this blog like two years ago and made four posts before I abandoned it. Much to my suprise when I went to make a blog for my english 217 class, and my old blog popped up.l so instead of having to create a new one, i guess that i will use this one. enjoy the ride guys.

cassies haircut

As you all know Diddys girlfriend cassie has cut off one side of her hair. At fist i didnt really have an opinion on it, but seeing pictures online it irks me. What was she thinking? Beautiful girls can pull off almost anything, but sweetie you cant pull off this. She reminds me of britney spears before she finished cutting off all of he hair. how can she possibly look in the mirror everyday and think that she looks good. I think that cassie is trying to acheive an " edgy" look like rihanna has, i dont think rihanna would have gone to the extremes and cut off all of her hair though. Shes tryna jock rihannas swagger, and kick it up a notch. 2 thunbs down to the haircut. Let Miss Rihanna show you how its done...

Blackberry 8900

Last saturday i got the new blackberry from tmobile. I had the blackberry 8300 a couple of months ago until it got stolen , so i upgraded to the tmobile G1. i loved that phone. it was touch screen and i could add so many different applications that other phones couldnt do. But unfortunatley i lost my G1 :( so thats wen i decided that i wanted a blackberry again. well it came on saturday and so far i like it. Its nothing spectacular, and the g1 is wayy better, but a majority of my good friends have bbm, so its easier for me to communicate with them. This phone doesnt come with gps though and i love my gps.. its an essential part of my life, but oh well what can i do . i can dowload it to my phone though. :)

Brooklyn McCauley Houston

Sunday afternoon i added a new addition to my family. I got a pittbull! My boyfriends brother bought a pitt in january, but since he works like 80 hours a week he couldnt take care of it and his mother wanted the doq out.. i know if he gave it to the shelter that someone would by it, but its too valuable of a dog so i decided that i would take it and raise the liddle pup. What a huge mistake! This dog is so incrediably misbehaved, thank god its house trained though. Im trying my best to get him into a routine and train him, so far so good. its frustrating though and hes alot of work. But patience is key and sooner or later ( hopefully sooner) he will be a well trained dog.
